WHAT IS THE AB WHEEL?

The AB Wheel is an inexpensive and compact home fitness product to strengthen and tone your abs. Simply, it’s a just a wheel with a handle through it and grips on both sides. However, you will be able to perform both simple and complicated movements on the Wheel to build strength in your abs and back, resulting in a solid core.

An AB Wheel works the core muscles in your lower torso, including the rectus abdominis in the stomach area, your hip flexors and the latissimus dorsi, which extend across your back from the pelvis to the shoulder. You can also use the AB Wheel to work not only your entire core, but secondary muscles such as your shoulders, hamstrings, arms and chest.

The Twin AB Wheel Rollers are aimed at more advanced AB rollers as it takes your ab, core and upper body workout to the next level whilst improving flexibility and coordination. The advanced braking system on each wheel allows you to work independently to perform rolling push-ups, iron crosses, rollouts, stair climbs, abdominal and core extensions. By simply twisting the handle you can apply the brake and continue using one arm if you wish, or control the amount of extension that you require.

You can perform rolling push-ups, rolling iron cross, core extensions and rotational push-ups. They are more versatile than a single Ab Roller Wheel, however they are more demanding and it takes more control.

HOW IT WORKS:

Take your planks, pushups and pillar exercises to a new level with the Twin Wheels AB Roller. Unlike the Single or Dual AB Wheel Roller, these independent rolling wheels on each side destabilize your movements, causing your shoulders, torso and hips to work harder than ever before.

The stability pushup strengthens and tones biceps, triceps and shoulders. This move can be done on the knees or on the feet using one wheel to start, or two for extra challenge. Workouts can accommodate virtually any level of fitness and provide functional strength while working the muscles synergistically.

The rollout, with the Twin Wheels AB Roller will prove more challenging than performed with the Single or Dual Wheel AB Rollers. Kneel with the wheels at your knees and roll it forward with your hands as far as you can — preferably until your chest touches the floor — then roll it back to your knees. The results are immediate as you can feel the stretch in your abdomen and the reverbations in your arms.

Experienced exercisers with very strong abdominal and back muscles can do full rollouts. Start in a standing position with the Wheels at your feet, roll it forward until your body is parallel to the floor, and then roll it back to the starting position.
